Written Questions (to turn in)
- Harrington divides the chapter into six periods: Early Events, 1800-1849, 1850-1899, 1900-1949, 1950-1999, and 2000-PRES. For the first five of these sections, answer the following questions:
- Are there any events listed in this time period that surprise you -- e.g., developments that you would have guessed were more recent? (or older?)
- Which of the developments are still commonly used today? Which have been largely discarded?
- For the last section, 2000-PRES, are there any developments on the list that you didn't realize were in existence?
